It has been found to be especially effective on horses with heel cracks, scratches, thrush, abrasions (hopple burns); etc. Uncle’s also produces an extremely effective orally administered product to relieve the pain and inflammation that accompanies joint and soft tissue wear and tear injuries and arthritic joints. It does not rely primarily on a chondroitin-glucosamine combination, which has been proven to be relatively ineffective as a sole treatment, as the primary ingredients to relieve the pain suffered by many horses raced or otherwise engaged in competition.
